Scholastic Assessment Test

The SAT is conducted by the College Board and serves as a key benchmark for undergraduate admissions in many countries, including India. The exam evaluates critical reading, analytical writing, and mathematical skills developed over years of schooling. It provides a common data point that helps colleges compare applicants from diverse educational backgrounds.

Scores are used alongside other factors like academic records and extracurricular achievements for admissions decisions.
