About Rajasthan JET
The paper is objective and multiple choice and is based on the class 12 syllabus, with candidates choosing a subject group appropriate to the course applied for, such as agriculture subjects, or physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and agriculture in the combinations the notification lists. The number of questions, the duration, the subject group options and the marking scheme including negative marking are stated in the information booklet released with each notification. Separate tests are conducted in some years for postgraduate agriculture admission and for other levels, so candidates must apply under the correct code.
After the result, a merit list is published and online counselling follows, with registration, choice filling, allotment rounds, document verification and reporting to the allotted college, and later rounds for vacant seats. Reservation, domicile and special category rules are applied as published by the coordinating university, and that notification is the authoritative source.
