Mangalayatan University Joint Entrance Examination

For undergraduate engineering admission the examination follows the class 12 physics, chemistry and mathematics syllabus, and questions are objective with a marking scheme published in the admission notification. Papers for other streams draw on the qualifying-level subjects relevant to the course, together with general aptitude, reasoning and English where appropriate, while postgraduate papers test the core content of the corresponding bachelor's degree. Scores are used only to prepare a programme-wise merit list for admission to Mangalayatan University, after which candidates take part in counselling, verify documents and confirm their seat.

Some professional programmes may add an interview or a portfolio round where notified. Details such as the number of questions, the duration, the mode of the test, the examination centres and the schedule of application and results are announced by the university in its admission notification for each session and should be checked there.
