About KLE University All India Entrance Test
The test is an objective paper with multiple choice questions, taken in a single sitting, with the number of questions, duration and marking scheme fixed by the university for each admission cycle and announced in its information brochure. For science and allied health programmes at undergraduate level the syllabus is drawn from class 11 and class 12 physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics as relevant to the course applied for, and may include a general aptitude or English component. Ranks are used to prepare a merit list, after which the university conducts counselling, document verification and seat allotment for its constituent colleges in Belagavi and its other campuses.
Because the university is a deemed institution, its seats are filled under its own rules within the framework set by the relevant regulator.
