Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education eligibility
Because this is a school board rather than an entrance test, the conditions relate to school enrolment. A candidate appears in the Class 12 board examination through a school affiliated to the board, after having been registered and promoted from the preceding class, and must meet the board's attendance and internal assessment requirements. Private and repeat candidates may appear under the categories the board defines in its notification.
Passing standards, minimum marks in each subject and in aggregate, rules on compartment and repeat attempts, and the age and registration conditions are set out in the official JKBOSE examination notification and bye laws, and students should confirm them with their school or on the board website.
