Himachal Pradesh Board Of School Education

This is a school board examination, so the conditions are about school enrolment rather than entrance-test eligibility. A regular candidate must be enrolled in and sponsored by a school affiliated to the board, must have completed the preceding class as required, and must meet the attendance and internal assessment requirements of the school. Private and open-school candidates apply directly to the board under its separate rules.

The pass marks in each subject, the age or registration conditions, the number of chances allowed and the fee are laid down in the board's own regulations and in the notification for the session, and candidates should verify these with the board rather than from unofficial sources.
