Himachal Pradesh NEET Counselling cutoff
HP NEET Counselling cutoffs are based on NEET UG rank and category. The 2026 cutoffs will be updated after AMRU completes the allotment rounds. The final cutoff depends on NEET UG 2026 difficulty, the number of applicants, and total available seats.
For reference, here are the recent closing rank trends for IGMC Shimla, the most sought-after government medical college in HP:
- General: Closing rank has ranged between 24,000 and 33,000 over the last four years.
- OBC: Closing rank has ranged between about 22,900 and 36,100.
- SC: Closing rank has ranged between about 56,500 and 2,73,800.
- ST: Closing rank has ranged between about 74,400 and 1,24,900.
- EWS: Closing rank has ranged between about 43,400 and 59,000.
- Backward Area: Closing rank has ranged between about 40,100 and 65,000.
Based on recent trends, if your NEET 2026 rank is below 30,000 in the General category, you have a realistic chance at IGMC Shimla state quota. If your rank falls between 35,000 and 50,000, target RPGMC Tanda and SLBS GMC Mandi. For ranks between 60,000 and 83,000 (General), GMC Hamirpur, GMC Nahan, and GMC Chamba are within reach. GMC Chamba consistently has the most relaxed cutoff among HP government colleges.
