About Gujarat Neet Pg Counselling
The process covers the state-quota seats in government and Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society colleges together with the seats in private and self-financed institutions as notified, while the all-India quota seats in the same colleges are allotted separately by the national Medical Counselling Committee. A candidate registers online, uploads documents for verification, pays the prescribed registration and token amounts, fills and locks a preference list of college and speciality, and receives an allotment determined by merit, category and choice. Successive rounds are held, followed by mop-up and stray-vacancy rounds, each with its own rules on upgradation, resignation and forfeiture.
Admission is completed only when the candidate reports at the allotted college with original documents within the notified time. The seat matrix, fee structure, bond conditions and round-wise schedule are published in the official admission notification.
