About Gujarat Admission Committee for Professional Courses
ACPC admission works in rounds rather than as a single test. The committee issues a notification for each course group, opens online registration, verifies documents at help centres set up across Gujarat, publishes a merit list, and then runs choice filling followed by successive rounds of seat allotment, reporting and vacancy or mop-up rounds. Merit is prepared from the score a candidate already holds in the test relevant to that course, such as a national engineering test, the state common entrance test for science students, a national management test or the national medical entrance test, read together with qualifying examination marks as laid down in the notification.
Participating institutions include state government engineering and pharmacy colleges, grant-in-aid institutes, and self-financing colleges affiliated to Gujarat technical and state universities.
