About Chhattisgarh Neet Pg Counselling
The process is conducted online in rounds notified by the state. Doctors who have qualified in the national postgraduate medical entrance test register on the state portal, pay the prescribed fee, upload documents for verification, fill and lock their choices of college and speciality, and are then allotted seats in order of state merit and category. Allotment is followed by reporting and joining at the allotted college within the notified window, after which upgrade, mop up and stray vacancy rounds are held for seats that remain unfilled.
The seats covered include doctor of medicine, master of surgery and postgraduate diploma courses in the state, along with the corresponding dental postgraduate seats where notified. Reservation, domicile and bond or service conditions laid down by the Chhattisgarh government are applied at the allotment stage.
