About Birla Institute of Technology MCA Entrance Exam
The Birla Institute of Technology MCA Entrance Exam is an institute-level entrance test conducted by Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra for admission to its Master of Computer Applications programme. The MCA is a postgraduate programme in computer applications designed for graduates seeking advanced study in software and computing.
BIT Mesra has conducted an online entrance test for shortlisting candidates for MCA admission. In the published entrance-test scheme, candidates answered objective multiple-choice questions covering Mathematics, Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and English.
The entrance test has been used as part of the selection process for the MCA programme at eligible BIT Mesra campuses. For the 2026-27 admission cycle, the institute's admission calendar lists MCA applications and states that the entrance-test date was to be announced.
Admission requirements can change by academic session. Candidates should therefore follow the eligibility and selection rules specified for the particular MCA admission cycle rather than relying on an older test scheme.
